I am so bored. I thought summer was suppose to rejuvenate me not make me tired and boring. Oh well.

I drew this image one day when i was really lonely at school. Another sketch image coloured in photoshop 7.0.

more doodles that i finished colouring todaaay! the second one isnt a total accomplishment but i thought it looked funny lol.

I've been doodling alot lately and i thought to myself "hey fucker, why not scan them and colour them so that everyone can see what a fucking genius you are." So here's #1 of my doodles titled "f-ing" coloured in photoshop 7.0 and drawn in a small paperback size sketch book. Enjoy!

YAY!! my creative zen works again!!!!! i dropped it hard on a cement floor a couple of months ago and it's hard drive was broken (it made a buzzzz noise) BUT because i'm a genius i fixed it. How you ask? I slammed it on my desk REALLY, REALLY hard when it was making the buzzing noise and *BAM* fixed. *sniff* i'm so happy ^.^

So i just finished a large project and now all i want to do is cut it up. My question is, does anyone else ever feel like doing that?

Sometimes i want to burn it! Horay!

PS. i quit my new job after two days. i'm a badass. lol

Here's another shibori piece i recently did. It reminded me of skin from an animal so I positioned it like it was. Enjoy. This is Indigo Dye (blue) and Potassium ( brown/green).

This is a piece i recently did with a resist dying technique developed by the Japanese called Shibori. Its an indigo dyed ( the deep blue) piece of 100% cotton and i achieved the night sky through the use of a wood grain, twist and bind with upholstery tread. It took about a week to sew and then 1 day for dying.

I've decided that myspace is a waste of time. The only thing its good for is when you dont want to add someone to your msn just in case there annoying. Thats about it. Also, its to perverted for me. All the "hot babes" and "pimpin' dudes" are a bunch of STD's waiting to happen. That is why i've finally decided to come back to live journal. These are the following reasons why:

1) its never let me down
2) people are complete dopes on here
3) i can post images of my face without getting picked up by some Dank
4) my REAL life friends are on here
5) etc...

Plus Livejournal is a really good place to come to after a hard days work at school and just unwind. I like reading random journals because sometimes when i'm depressed these people make my life look not so horrible.

Anyways, I'm back and there's nothing you can do about it.

I'M BACK. i made a box of my head and i thought i would share it with you all.

These are some drawings i've been working on throughout summer and I'm hoping to embroider them with beads (ex. the image on the bottom is just the beginning) and then hopefully mount each of them on separate large canvas'. They will both be made with 100% cotton and dyed using tea and red wine. I've always liked it when objects (paintings, sculpture, etc) can be shown in a series of three so I am considering adding a third girl. My ultimate goal is to sell these three girls at the ACAD show and sale. I definitely wont be done by the end of this year so possibly the following show and sale 2007.

i'm so tired lately and I havent drawn anything since the last week of school. Mostly i've been living it up in lazy town playing WoW and sleeping in till 1:00 and frankly i feel good about myself.

Of course i havent forgotten about the 5 large paintings i'm planning on doing this summer (ive started one out of five) but for now i just want to sleep allllll day long!!!

I've also decided to start producing jeans. Not really MAKING them from denim but taking already made, cheap jeans then distressing them and making them into hotess. I hope it all works out. I'm trying to distress some jeans for my boyfriend but its more diffucult then i had originally planned. I've discovered that its hard to produce a nice, hip pair of jeans for a guy that doesnt scream "gay". ugh.

ps. i hate dumb people (like the person that i'm talking to right now) that cannot see outside of their own ignorance.

So this is a picture for my Design Drawing class. The purpose of this drawing is to study fabrics and texture. I dont know if i successfully executed the homework but i did try. Its the end of the year and i have no motivation right now.

I know that the impression this image gives off its pretty "punk rock" because of the studded belt but i needed texture and bumpiness so dont think i'm all hardcore. =)

I know that the fingers are alittle plump and i tried my hardest to make them less obese looking but i could not. Hands and feet are my biggest challenge and sadly i have not mastered them yet.
